SPARES AND REPAIRS. Plea se carry out the following in ord er to ensure prompt att ention and corr ect execution of orde rs. SPARES. I. Parts forwarded as patterns and all orders for spares should be addre ssed to "S par es,"B.S.A. Cycles Ltd ., Birmin gham 11. 2. Wh en order ing parts the [rame and engine numb ers rnust be quoted. rfh e forme r will be found stamp ed on the seat or the head tub e lug, and the latt er on the near– side of the crankcase imm ediat ely below the cylinder base. lt is essential that the component numbers of the parts required be clearly stated . IMPORTANT. - ln quotin g engine and frame numb er sthe full number, including prefix lette r s, MUST BE GIVEN. 3. To avoid delay orders for spare parts should be written on a separate order form or sheet of paper to correspondence on other matters. REPAIRS. 4. All motor cycles, engines, sidecars, or components for r epair, mu st be consigned to "Repair, " B.S.A. Cycles Ltd ., Birmin gham 11. 5 In cases where we are simp ly instructed to "ov erhaul," the machine or component will be entirely dismantled · and all worn parts renewed, re-assem bled and tested in a suitable mann er. 6. When sendin g comple te moto r cycles to us such accessories as lamps, horns, speedometers, tools, etc., should be removed, as they are liable to be dam aged or lost in tran sit, for which we cannot accept liability. · 7. ln the case of telephone enquiries relatin gto the supply or repair of motor cycle or sidecar parts customer sare r equested to communi catewith the Department concerned . as above. Care in this respect will pr event delay and annoyance. 9. All goods must be consigned to us carria ge paid. . . I O. At the same time instructions should be given as to the method of despat ch (eith er post, passenger or goods train), and such charges should be include d in the remittance. Complaints relative to defects in tyres, saddles, and electrical equipm ent should be sent dire ct to the manu factu rer of such articles as th ese goods are only guaranteed in accordance with the respect ive makers ' warranty. 13.
