USE OF THIS PARTS BOOK This text is divided into t wo sections as a dual· aid, firstly to interchangeability and secondly to aid overseas assemblv fr om a partially or completely knocked down state. The two sections are: a) Pages bearing a number prefix "C" - indicating part s of the carcase -- that is, the main body of the motor cycle. b) Pages bearing a number prefix " K" -·- indicating kit parts, that is those feature part s necessary to complete the various models. Each basic carcase mot orcycle built is identical and it is not until the featur e kits are fitted that the model gains its identit y. TO LOCATE THE PART REQUIRED Ident if y f rom the ilustration the secti on in which the required component appears. Having located the page, the individual component is keyed fr om the illustration to the text. Not e that the parts appearing in the carcase sections are identical for all models with the exception of one or two parts only which are clearly marked. ln the case of kit parts, parts which apply to all models are marked to this eff ect. SPECIAL NOTE When ordering coloured parts, always quote the colo ur required as well as using the part number suff ix. The suf f ix numbers do not indicate the colour in many instances.
