Burr ageGr ov e is the first turning on the left from Burrage Road when entering Burrage Road from the Plumstead Road. (See final paragraph below.) The nearest Railway Station is WOOLWIC H ARSENAL, SOUTHERN REGION RAILWAY. This Station is five minutes 'walk from our Service Depot in Burrage Grove . There is an excellent service of elec t rictrains from Charing Cross, Waterloo, Cannon Street and Londo n Bridge Stat ions, Southern Region Railway. , Bus routes 53, 54, 163, 99, 122, 122a and 177 pass the end of Burrage Road (one minute from the Serv ice Depot). Bus rou tes 186, 75 and 161 serve Ber es ford Squ ar e which is th ree minutes' walk from the Servic e and Repair Depa rtm ent . Visitors from the North can pass into Woolwic h via the Free Ferry between North Woolwich and Woolwich. North Woolwich is a British Railways term inus and Is also served by Bus and Trolleybus routes I O I, 569, 669 and 685. There is also a tunne lunder the River Thames at this point for foot passengers. The Free Ferry accommodates all types of motor vehicles and there is a very frequent service. The Southern landing stage is less than a mile from the Service Depot . Visitors arriving by road, if they are strangers to the locality, should enquire for Ber es ford Squ ar e, Woolwich .Upon arrival there ,the road skirting the Royal Arsena l should be followed in an Easterly dir ection for about four hundred yards, and Burr age Road is the second turning on the right after leaving t he Square .
