We shall be pleased to give estimates for repairs if part s are sent to us for that purpose. If the estima te is accepted , no charge is made for the preliminary examina tion, but , should it be decided not to. have the work carried out, it may be necessary to make a charge to cover the cost of whatever dismant ling and re-assembly may have been done to prepare the estimate. (8) REPAIRS TO PROPRIETARY FITTINGS. We do not repair carburet ters, chains, electric al equipment, saddles, spar king plugs, speedomet ers and tyres. On page 84 of the " MAINTENANCE MANUAL AND INSTRUCTION BOOK,. wil be found the names and addresses of the manufactur ers of the pro priet ary equipment we flt, all of whom ser vice and repair equlpf!lent they make . . . •• (9) PATTERNS. Parts sent to us as patterns, or for repa ir, should have attached to them a label bearing the sender 's full name and address. The instructions regarding such part s should be sent under separate cover . (IO) GUARANTEE. All part s made by us, and sold as spares, are subject to the same Limited Guarantee as that issued with each new moto r cycle and that guarante e is printed in full on Page 87 of the " MAINTENANCE MANUAL AND INSTRUCTION BOOI{.'' (11) INSTRUCTION BOOK. A " MAINTENANCE MANUAL AND INSTRUCTION BOOK" has been compiled and published by us. One copy is supplied free, upon application, with each new motor cycle. Replacement copies are two shillings and sixpence each. (12) CORRESPONDENCE. Our routine is organised into different departm ents. Ther efore delay cannot be avoided if rnatta rs relating to mor e than one department are contained in one lett er . Consequently when communicating with mor e than one departmen t lt Is· desira ble to do so on SEPARA TE SHEETS. Each sheet should bear the sender's name and address.
